ズボンは身体に密着するデザインのため、体重の増減・妊娠・成人用オムツの利用等による体形の変化に適応しにくいと感じていました。成人用オムツ利用であると明らかに判るシルエットは高齢者がオムツを嫌厭する理由になっていると思います。そこで、ズボンの利便性は保ちながら、体形や可動域の変化に対応できるデザインのものを考えました。サルエルパンツを基本として「ユニバーサルエルパンツ」と名付け、前部の股上と股下を開放することで、臀部をもち上げずに着用可能にしました。 自ら着用を繰り替えし、次の利点があることも明らかになりました。 ・洗濯時、写真のように全開で干すことにより、乾きが早くなる。 ・スカートとしても着用でき、旅先など、少ない荷物でバリエーションを設けたい時に重宝する。 ・やむを得ず野外で用を足す必要があるとき、ズボンを脱がなくて良いため、アウトドア活動時に役立つ。 ・一時的にマントのように使用することで、肌を見せずに着替えができ、スポーツやダンスの発表会などで役立つ。
Since pants are designed to adhere closely to the body, we felt that it was difficult to adapt to changes in body shape due to weight gain or loss, pregnancy, use of adult diapers, and other factors. We believe that the silhouette of pants, which clearly shows the use of adult diapers, is a reason why elderly people are reluctant to wear diapers. Therefore, we came up with a design that could accommodate changes in body shape and range of motion while maintaining the convenience of pants. We named them "Universal Elle Pants" based on sarouel pants, and opened up the front crotch and inseam so that they can be worn without lifting the buttocks. As wearing it repeatedly, the following advantages became apparent. ・When washing, the garment can be dried with the crotch fully open, as shown in the photo, which speeds up the drying process. ・It can also be worn as a skirt, which is useful when traveling and when you need a variation with a small amount of luggage. ・It is useful for outdoor activities in case of call of nature without having to take off your trousers. ・It is useful for sports, dance recitals, etc., as it can be used temporarily as a cloak to change clothes without exposing the skin.
