当製品の名称は「SHICI」と言い、手の指、そして足の趾の「指趾」から造語し、手足の如くその人の役に立つことを祈る思いで命名しました。 　製作したきっかけは世の中に散見している不明瞭な治療に対し明確な答えを示したいと思い、2001年より製作を開始、約３年間の試行錯誤を経て現在の形に至ります。 　私は京都で接骨院を開業する傍ら開発を行い、京都の老舗金物メーカーにてSUS303から削り出し、1本1本職人の手で磨き作り上げています。 　高精度で製作されているからこそ、患部に対しバイオトライボロジー効果を生じさせ、軟部組織・関節・筋肉など人体の様々な組織修復を可能とします。更に当製品の使用方法は非常にシンプルで、特別な技術が無くても「当る・軽く押す・摩る」だけで上記の組織修復が期待できます。 　その効果は国立情報学研究所に2つの論文として発表済みですので、是非一度、論文をご参照ください。 　さらに、医療現場での使用を考慮し、ほぼ全ての消毒・滅菌方法を用いることが可能ですので、衛生面においても優れていると言えます。すでに医療施設等で使用が開始されており、術後の創部、構音障害訓練に対しても実験段階ではありますが効果が認められています。
The name of this invention is called “SHICI”, which is named after the names of fingers and toes in Japanese to imply that it is useful like actual fingers and toes for people. The motivation for inventing this product was to give a tangible answer to vague treatments that can be seen so commonly in the world. It started back in 2001, and it has developed to its current form through about 3 years of trials. I have been developing this product with a running chiropractic clinic, and with one of the oldest hardware makers in Kyoto, this is produced from SUS303 and polished by the hands of craftsmen. Since it is made with high accuracy, it can produce a bio tribology effect on patients which can help heal soft tissue, joints, and muscle or the other various human body tissue. The way to use this product is quite simple. It doesn’t require a specific skill set in order to achieve the effects mentioned above by applying, pushing lightly, and rubbing. The effects are proven by two research papers submitted to the National Institute of Informatics, so please check the papers if you are interested. In addition to everything, considering its use in medical fields, almost all methods of disinfection and sterilization are applicable with this product, so it can be said that it has hygienical excellency. It has already been used in medical facilities. Though it is still in its experimental stages, its effects on the traces of wounds and the training for dysarthria disorder are recognized.
